Rack or Shelving Supported mezzanines consist of a platform that is supported by shelving or pallet rack configured underneath.
Clear Span

Clear Span is a self-supporting mezzanine. The floor/platform is supported by structurally engineered supports and joists designed to support the weight of the equipment or materials being stored. The top of the mezzanine can be used the same as floor space on the ground floor.

Catwalk or Shelf-on-Shelf mezzanines consist of double-tall shelving units with a floor that is suspended from the shelving at the halfway point. The shelving units on the upper level are configured the same as those on the lower level.
